Happy 23 Months!!
You have one month left until you turn 2!! Oh my time has flown but you've been a busy boy this month...
Here's 23 on 23
1. You are a little stinker, I have caught you licking the coffee creamer lid, hiding in the corner with a beer bottle you got from the trash, drinking the leftover coffee from my mug, and sitting in my chair drinking my soda
2. You like to play with the trash can (time to hide it)
3. You talk all day, some is toddler talk and some we understand very clearly, Go car Go, there it is, all done, all gone, no more, thank you, choo choo, and many many more words
4. You love to count 1, 2, 3, 8, 10
5. You like to sit in the big chairs at our table and stand on them too
6. You have had several time outs this month
7. When we say time to eat you run to the table and say mmmmmm
8. Mommy helps watch Olivia on Thursday afternoons, you run over and lay down with her, you'll watch Mickey together, you help her put the binkie in her mouth, but you will not share Captain Calamari with her
9. You love to eat cereal all by yourself, milk, bowl, spoon and all
10. You go down the big boy slides at parks all by yourself (thanks GJ and Pops for this, their special post will follow)
11. GJ and Pops watched you for 5 days alone while mommy and daddy took a vacation
12. You love to play with lotion bottles you'll say on, which means open
13. You love water and you've had fun at water parks this month
14. Both car seats are turned around in our cars now you love this
15. You love to walk Gracie outside good thing she moves pretty slow
16. You love wallets taking the credit cards in and out
17. You love animals especially looking at them in books and making the animal noises
18. Dr. Seuss's ABC book is still your favorite, we always sing the ABC song together you love this
19. When mommy watches Ellen you'll dance along with her
20. Your 2 year old molars are breaking through
21. You have to do almost everything by yourself, Mr. Independent
22. Your nicknames, Colin Jacob Gillis, bubba, bubs, bubby, bubbalinksi, stinkie, and lil daddy
23. Everyday your little character traits are shining through, as you approach 2 we want you to know how much you are loved you make our lives so much brighter We love you so much bubby
