GJ Visits

YEAH!!!!!!!  GJ comes to visit!!!!  What a perfect time to getaway~ 

before school starts, after an earthquake hits, and before 

Hurricane Irene heads up the coast!!

Ironically, Hurricane Irene dodged Florida, and the Northeast frantically prepared as it headed their way, but GJ flew out just in time and enjoyed some Florida sunshine instead of wind, rain, and flooding!!

It was a beautiful weekend...

First Day!

First day with my Kindergartners!!  

In a nutshell~ I have 20 students with more to come, I had car rider duty in 105 degree weather, I sat down only to eat lunch, and Florida has been monitoring hurricane Irene praying it veers out to sea!!

I came home exhausted but one little moment changed it all...

Rockabye Baby

On August 9th mommy decided it was time to move you to your big boy crib!  After your bath we read a book, listened to my favorite goodnight lullaby by your favorite lil guy~Elmo, turned on your night sky and we kissed you goodnight....

You can see it was getting snug and you didn't have much room to move and groove!

Notice the blur, your legs and arms never stay still

Back to School

Sorry this is a little late but it's been a very busy week back!!!

My first day back to work was definitely a memorable one :0)

Mommy packed and got everything ready the night before so I could spend every last minute with you in the morning, but you must of known something was up because...

1:30 you were up and then at 5:00 we heard you talking away on the monitor, and then for the next 1 hour and 1/2 you giggled, smiled, talked, and made an absolute mess getting your diaper changed!!  

On my way to school I tried my best not to cry and thought of all the fun you would have with daddy.  Boy was I right, throughout the day he sent me many pictures and videos of you!!

The best part of my day was rushing home to see you!  It was the best feeling to pick you up and kiss those chubby cheeks.  I don't think I put you down the whole night!!
